Yes. However, first-time applicants need to submit a request for an account in our system before they can submit a proposal. This request acts like a Letter of Interest and gives us a chance to get an overview of your organization and project. We review each request to determine whether your organization and project fit within our funding priorities. If your request for an account is approved, you may then submit a grant proposal via our online system. We also strongly encourage first-time grant applicants to set up a meeting with us before submitting a proposal.
Please check your spam or trash folders and please make sure that [email protected] is whitelisted or added to your address book. If you do not receive an email with one week of the date that you submitted the request, please email us at [email protected].
No, we do not offer scholarships or funding for individuals.
We have two proposal deadlines—January 2 and July 2 each year. If your proposal is submitted by January 2, it will be considered in our April grant cycle. If your proposal is submitted by July 2, it will be considered in our October grant cycle. You can read more about our grant calendar and process on the Process page of our website.
If the submission deadline falls on a weekend or holiday, the deadline will be extended to the next regular business day. For example, if July 2 falls on Sunday, the deadline will be Monday, July 3.
Tyndale House Foundation does grant to organizations outside the USA. If your organization is not registered as a US 501(c)(3) charity, you must have a Fiscal Sponsor that can accept funds on your behalf. Click here for more information on Fiscal Sponsors.
Award notifications for the April grant cycle are sent after the THF Board meets in April. Award notifications for the October grant cycle are sent after the THF Board meeting in October.

We do not make multi-year commitments. However, you may submit a proposal each year for the same project until the project is complete. For example, if you are working on a Bible translation project that is expected to take five years, you may submit a new proposal each year for the same project, building on the previous year’s grant.
