eligibility assessmentIs this your first time submitting a grant proposal application to Tyndale House Foundation?
Your first step in partnering with Tyndale House Foundation is to determine whether your organization and project align with our grantmaking priorities. We encourage you to read about our priorities here and then use our eligibility assessment tool.
If you feel that your organization and project align with ours, the next step is to fill out our online form to request an account in our Grant Application Portal. You can find this on the login page of our Grant Application Portal. You will receive a notification via email when your account is approved or declined. If your account is declined, this means that your organization does not fall within our funding priorities and not likely to receive funds. If your account is approved, please follow the steps outlined in the notification email to set up your online account.
Once your account is set up, it is now time to reach out to Foundation staff to for an introductory meeting. We want to get to know you! We prefer to meet with senior organizational leaders and those who are directly involved in the project for which you are seeking funding. Please email us at [email protected] to request a meeting.
Now that your request for an account has been approved and you have met with Foundation staff, you are ready to start working on a grant proposal. Foundation staff are standing by ready to help answer questions and troubleshoot any issues that arise. However, we are not able to review proposals and provide feedback prior to the submission date. Remember to include supporting materials and prayer requests!
After each deadline, proposals go through a three-tiered review process. During this time, Foundation staff may reach out to you for additional information. We are not able to give updates on the status of your proposal until our full review process is complete. As a reminder, if you submit your proposal by the January 2 deadline, you will receive a notification by the end of April. If you submit your proposal by the July 2 deadline, you will receive a notification by the end of October.
During the review process, we invite you to pray with us and for us as we evaluate each proposal. We pray for every organization and proposal that is submitted. Please pray for us as we seek wisdom and God’s guidance in our decision making.
If you receive a grant from Tyndale House Foundation, please carefully read the letter included with your grant check. This letter outlines important requirements and timelines during the implementation period of your grant.
During the time that a grant is active, you are considered part of the Tyndale Family. We invite you to send us prayer requests throughout the year, so we can lift you up in our weekly prayer meetings. If circumstances change and you are no longer able to use the grant funds for their intended purpose, please reach out to Foundation staff as quickly as possible.
